Transmission Drain and Fill

Not all transmission services are created equal. The method and the materials used varies widely. Drain and fill is the least expensive, provided your trans is equipped with a drain plug that is similar to your engine oil drain.

Expect about 40% of your fluid to be changed, so this service should be done more often like every 20K starting at 60K miles. With an excellent BG additive and full synthetic ATF, cost is approximately $105. This regimen yields great results.

Transmission Filter Service

Get better fluid exchange, approximately 50-60%, and we can clean wear debris collecting in trans pan. Filter is also changed similar to changing engine oil filter. Longer intervals starting at 60K miles and continuing every 30K thereafter. Get top-tier materials and craftsmanship for about $160. Excellent!

Transmission Flush

This is accomplished in many different ways. The best method is to interrupt fluid flow at trans cooler. This helps to minimize comingling of old and new fluids. Again longer intervals, if done properly 70%- 80% clean fluid can be achieved. Price is dictated by trans capacity, the average cost is $160.
